Colonel's Resort can accommodate up to 100 students easily.


Accommodation

  1. -10 tents (up to 8 students each) with bedding on floor

  2. -Dormitory (20'x40') with 20 beds plus room for 40 students on the floor

  3. -For staff: 2 single rooms and 4 double rooms, all with attached bath


Facilities & Resources

  1. -12 toilets

  2. -8 showers with hot water

  3. -Group function area

  4. -Ample parking for multiple buses, etc.

  5. -Clinic nearby; hospitals in Chauntara and Palampur

  6. -Doctor on call


Food

  1. -Sumptuous Indian meals

  2. -Bed tea, breakfast, lunch, high tea, soup, dinner, and dessert

  3. -Veg and non-veg

  4. -Trained catering staff can easily handle up to 100 students

  5. -Covered outdoor dining area

  1. -Trekking, including both day hikes and backpacking/tent camping

  2. -Paragliding (seasonal)

  3. -Ropes and obstacle courses

  6. -Whitewater rafting (in Beas)

  7. -Jungle cooking

  8. -Snow (in winter only)

  9. -First aid lecture


Leisure activities:

  1. -Stroll through tea gardens, and visit the local tea factory to discover how tea is made.

  2. -Take a taste of the peaceful, rural village life of the Himalayas.

  3. -Enjoy outdoor games and sports back at camp.

  4. -End the day with evening activities, including music, dances, and cultural programmes, or simply gathering around the bonfire.
